Power Plant
Power plants is the industry which generated power or electricity. In power plant coal is burned in boiler to heat water and convert it into superheated steam for generating electricity. During combustion of coal gases like SOx, NOx, CO2 are generated. These gases are measured at Stack for emission monitoring. Also O2 is measured in boiler stack to check the efficiency of boiler. Particulate Matter is measured at ESP (Electrostatic precipitators) where flue gas from boiler is passed through to filter dust.
